A Heart To Give
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
It is my birthday, forty-six years old, and I am happy to spend some of it serving other people at the hospice. It was a nice evening and it was busy today.
I meet a new volunteer who shadowed me the whole evening to get his feet wet. A young man of twenty-four years of age, he was great and had a real loving attitude. We visited with patients and family members and he fit right in. It is very refreshing to see young people with a heart to give to others. We went from room to room talking and visiting with the patients and their family members.
It was a wonderful birthday present helping others and training another volunteer to help others as well. Serving others is truly the Kingdom of God!
