He Had To Leave Town!
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had come in to volunteer at the hospice at my regular time of nine-in-the-morning. Heidi had called me and asked if she could come in a little later. She is not a morning person! I made some coffee and cleaned up the break room.
Heidi came in about an hour later or so. She is a short plump lady with a strange accent. She is originally from Bavaria, Germany, but has lived in the United States for the last forty years. Heidi is her Americanized name. Her German name is very hard to pronounce.
She told me a lot about herself, and told me this story when she was living in Charleston, South Carolina.. Her ex-husband back in the day, had always had affairs with other women. It was a constant problem in their marriage. He finally met the wrong woman!
That is because the woman's husband that he was currently having am affair with found out about it! He then threatened to kill Heidi'e cheating husband! For the first time the rooster's came home to roost! This threat was very real and he was scared!
He decided to move by himself to another city about a hundred miles away for a time till everything could cool off! He stayed there for about six months. Then he quietly sneaked back into town! It was a sad story for Heidi, one among many sad stories for her.
