He Whistled At Her

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I was in a patients room speaking with a middle aged lady and her mother, who was in bed.  Her mother was the ninety-six year old patient.  Her brother is ninety-six years old!

Both of them had escaped from Nazi Germany during the Second World War.  You can read more about them in the posts, "Sixteen and all alone," "Escape from Nazi Germany,"  "The ship of brides."

Both of them and made it to England safe and sound.  She was eighteen by this time.  One day she was walking in the park when she heard a whistle.

She looked behind her and seen an American serviceman smiling at her.  He had whistled at her!  She slowly turned around and said, "Today is my birthday, are you going to take me out to lunch?"  They were soon married after that date!

That just shows us what one whistle could turn into.  One whistle turned into a life together!  So, the lesson here is, be careful who you whistle at, it can change your life!

Has anyone ever whistled at you before?  Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
