My Daughter Was So Selfish!
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
My shadow an I were having a great time visiting patients and family members here at our hospice. My shadow today was a nice college student named Nellie. She is a twenty-year-old Asian-American from the Bay area of California.
We walked into a room on the third floor and find a rose in the room. Not a real rose but the lady lying in bed was named Rose. She is an elderly Hispanic lady, and she was very friendly and talkative.
My shadow and I walked in and see brightened right up and motioned us to come in the room. Rose was sitting up in bed and was happy to have some company. We came in and sat down with her.
She told us a lot of stories about her family but had a lot to say about her daughter! She said that she was so selfish growing up! She shared with us a story when the family had some money problems. Her daughter yelled at her and said that she was the adult and needed to get the money somewhere!
Rose shared with us several more stories about the selfish attitude of her daughter. But then she shared with us that she was converted to Christ and had a big change of attitude. So this bad story quickly got good! Jesus Christ can make all the difference that a person needs!
