Leukemia Anxiety
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
It was a nice afternoon at our hospice and I found myself in a room with a wonderful middle-aged lady. Her mother was the patient, and she was laying in the bed, unconscious. The lady was named Donna and we visited for three-hours and she told me a lot of crazy stories!
One of the stories was kind of sad. She had told me of one of her cousins. Her cousins daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia! It was a very sad and worrisome diagnosis. After the diagnosis the family did a lot of crying and praying!
They family spent many months and tens-of-thousands of dollars at several hospitals. It was very stressful on the family but even more so for the daughter!
Finally the stress was too much for her cousin and she had an anxiety attack and was bedridden! It took her several weeks to get better. It took many years before she could handle any kind of a stressful situations again.
Well, what about the daughter with the Leukemia? She got steadily better and was finally cured! Both mother and daughter it seems got better together! It was a sad situation for several years for the both of them but it eventually turned out well for both of them in the end!
