Dancing In My Underwear
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was hanging out at the third floor nurse's station in between patient visits. The nurse's was first talking about how different families could be, then they started talking about some strange behaviors!
One of the nurse's, Nora, who is now planning to retire in January, told us some stories! She admitted to being a stripper when she was much younger. They were all laughing about it because she said that she likes to dance in her living room in her underwear!
Nora is now sixty-seven years old even though she looks much younger than that. She said that she still felt young and wouldn't mind pole-dancing again! I told her that at her age she might hurt herself doing that! She laughed and said that I might be right about that!
I was kind of in shock when she said that she was a stripper. That is because Nora is now a very devout Christian African-American lady who come off as being very stiff. And she can be very touch about things.
So to hear that she likes to dance in her underwear in her living room was a shock and kind of funny! It just goes to show you that we never really know people until you really know them!
