Ten Years With Cancer
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was in a room with a fifty-six year old lady from Bolivia. She is dying of cancer and is resting peacefully in bed. Her husband is sitting in the chair facing her and I am sitting on the couch next to him.
We were sitting there together. He was sharing with me about their lives together. His wife had battled breast cancer starting ten years ago. That was two years before they met.
By that time she had a total mastectomy and thought that the cancer was gone. They met and feel in love and moved in together. Then the cancer returned!
From the breast area it went to her brain! When they were treating the brain cancer, they then discovered it in her lower back. Now the cancer was literally everywhere and was now considered terminal.
This young lady from Bolivia had battled cancer for ten years and now the fight is coming to an end! She will be passing in a few days to a week! For ten years she put up a fight for her life. It is a fight that she has lost, and her family in now in mourning. But her memory will not be lost!
