She Is A Go-Getter
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was in a room at our hospice visiting the family. A middle aged man was there with his wife. His wife was the patient. She was only fifty-six-years-old. She was dying of tongue and throat cancer! The patient's sister was also there, but she was in and out of the room all morning.
I sat and talked to the patient's husband. He sat in the chair facing the bed and I sat next to him on the couch. He was very talkative and talked mostly about her, as he should.
He kept telling me what a go-getter she had always been all of her life. If anything was going on, she wanted to be a part of it! Whether it was a work job or a fun job, it didn't matter, she wanted to be a part of it.
He showed me a picture of her power washing the house. He also had pictures of them on the four-wheeler and their Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She was an active lady and wanted to do everything!
She had a full time job as an insurance adjuster. She had to do a lot of traveling to disaster area's. When she came home then she wanted to be busy with the family. She was a go-getter!
