The Next Time It Will Be Worse
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was in a room in our hospice talking with a very friendly, and nice forty-two year old Hispanic lady. She was very happy that I was there to visit with her and very talkative. I sat down and we visited for several hours until her sister arrived.
She shared with me that several years ago she had breast cancer! She went through the medical procedures and suffered greatly until she beat breast cancer. Irma was a very devout Catholic and would pray about her medical condition daily.
During one of those prayer sessions, she heard the voice of God! She said that God told her, "I will heal you this time but the next time it will be far worse!" Why would God continue to give this lady health problems we don't know. The reason for her health problems we don't know either! Some things in life are just best left up to Jesus Christ!
Irma was healed of her breast cancer, but several years later she found out that the cancer had gone to her brain and other parts of her body! And that's where she is today, in hospice dying of brain cancer. Jesus' warning has come to pass!
Because of her faith ,and God warning her in advance, she is very content about her passing away! Not only did I recognize this but all the nurses saw this as well! We were all amazed how comfortable she was being here and with her condition. She may be dying but her faith is giving her much comfort as she enters the next life!
