Rochester Guages

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I was visiting with a seventy-year-old lady named Mary.  You can read more about her in the post called, "seventeen stents," and "I had to get away,"  "You are so sweet,"  "Body dancing,"  "Skipping school."  She is a joy to talk with and can keep your attention for hours, because she loves visitors.

She shared with me about how she left Houston, Texas and moved to Dallas, Texas.  After finding several small jobs.  She found a job at Rochester gauges.  That is where she made a carrier and even found a husband!

She started on the assembly line, did special projects, quality control and finally ended up in the office.  She learned to do every job there!  She was never afraid to work and loved being independent.  She made good money and made a life for herself there.

Mary retired aa long time ago when she started to develop heart problems.  Over a ten year period she has had seventeen stents put in and a pacemaker.  It's been a rough ten years for Mary.

Mary is a tough lady and is always has a happy demeanor!  She is most certainly a better person than me.  I hope this wonderful lady lives a long time because the world needs more happy people like her!

Do you know of a happy person?  Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
