Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!




THE REST OF THE WAY

We didn't get to walk down this road together,
 but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.

I have tried to think about how I could have been better,
  love and hard work was something I always tried to do.

But,
We didn't get to walk down this road together,
 but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.

You tried very hard for us not to be all together
Everything was destroyed and scattered as your anger grew.

But,
We didn't get to walk down this road together,
but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.

Sermons preached to people and Bible's made of leather,
Words of life ringing out to empty headed people in the pew.

But,
We didn't get to walk down this road together,
but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.

In the end you left me dangling in the breeze like a feather,
delaying, unsure of what to do, thinking of the taboo.

But,
We didn't get to walk down this road together,
but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.

In the end, debating to myself and talking to others,
God gave me the release to leave and wish you adieu.

We didn't get to walk down this road together,
but I will walk the rest of the way thinking of you.
