Do not Return!
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
The volunteer that got injured a month ago in the post "volunteer injured," I heard that she was told not to return. The Hospice administration wanted her to sign a form stating that she would not sue because of her injuries. She refused, and her story had changed a few times and so they told her not to return.
It was sad news since she is a nice lady and was a dedicated volunteer for a few years. But, the Hospice has to look at the business side of it, especially since we live in a law-sue society today. I don't know why she would not sign. Maybe she was insulted or something.
So, it was sad news, but volunteers come and go for different reasons. Volunteers go and today starts another training class to train new ones. I have been blessed by the Lord to serve others in this ministry for nine years now.
