Bon Jovi
Hello everyone.
I was talking with the nurses, at the upstairs nurses station about meeting famous people. One of the nurses mother had a picture taken with Sinbad, the comedian.
I told them that I went to a small downtown club to see a famous Bluegrass band called the Infamous Stringdusters. I said that I wanted to hear the concert and get their autographs. I went to the concert with a friend and it was fantastic! Being a very small club, I got to meet the band!
Well, they were just kids! Four guys in their twenties. I felt weird asking these kids for their autographs since I am much older. They were very nice young guys, all were kinda short though, that was kinda of a surprise.
One of the nurses said that her sister and a friend and their mother went to New York City in the Nineteen-Eighties to go to a Bon Jovi concert. Her sister and her friend wanted to stay at the same hotel that the band was staying at, so they booked rooms there.
Well, Bon Jovi had the entire floor booked for security and privacy. They could not get there, but they came prepared. So, they had some workout clothes and pretended to go to the workout room through Bon Jovi's floor! That didn't work. They then put on some delivery girl outfits that they brought. That didn't work either since they had nothing to deliver!
Well, they finally went downstairs very disappointed. They were at the elevators when they seen their mother come out of an elevator. She said, walking out of an elevator, "Have a good concert boys!" As the door closed behind her they had seen that it was Bon Jovi and his band! And their mother had no idea who he was, she was just there to shaparone them!
All they got was a short glimpse of them, their mother said they were nice young boys. So, even though she did not have a famous person encounter, their mother did, and she didn't care much!
Have you ever meet a famous person? Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
