Lake End Park Ghost

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

Ada LaBoeuf is said to have lured her husband out to meet with her close friend (boyfriend), Dr. Thomas Dreyer during the great flood of 1927. Ada's husband, James LaBoeuf, and the doctor did not get along, he probably suspected the affair! Her plea was for them to meet up to settle the feud. James LeBeau was murdered that night, and both Ada and Dr. Dreyer were both convicted of the crime and sentenced to hang.

The court resolved that James LaBoeuf went fishing on that fateful day with Dr. Thomas Dreyer and James Beatle, a friend of the Doctor.. James LaBoeuf didn't know that Thomas had hid a shotgun on his boat. When they were in the middle of the flooded lake, the Doctor took out the hidden shotgun and shot Ada's husband. James Beadle and Thomas then wrapped up their victim and weighed him down with a cinder block, and threw him overboard!

As was said, the lake was flooded at this time. As the flood waters receded to it original level, the dead body of James LaBoeuf was exposed and discovered! That's when the crime was discovered and investigated. Thomas apparently assumed that he was in the deep part of the flooded lake.

A third person was at the scene of the murder, James Beatle, who served time at Angola State Prison for his part in the crimes. There are many discrepancies, accounts of a unfair trial, and even a possible political motive surrounding the trial. Ada's execution was public, where is Dr Dreher's hanging was performed behind a curtain.

A female apparition is said to frequent the area of the Lake End Park in Morgan City, Louisiana, especially on misty and foggy nights! The mysterious woman is thought to be Ada LaBoeuf, the first female executed in the state of Louisiana! A mystery that will never truly be solved.
