Your Parents Are Not Coming!
Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
My wife and I drove to the nursing home after a full day at the food pantry for me, and delivering meals on wheels for her. It was a day of feeding the poor. But at the nursing home we can sit and relax during a visit with one of the patients.

We walked up to the building, greeting a couple of lady residences as we entered the building. we rounded the corner only to see the transgender nurse. It has a female body but a deep male voice! It told us the Marjorie was in her room. We walked in to see the one hundred year old patient.
We peeked into the room and Marjorie was slumped in her chair fast asleep. I told my wife that we should let her sleep. We informed the transgender nurse that she was asleep and we were moving on. We quickly walked down the the other side of the building.
We walked into the breakroom and didn't see Carolee anywhere, so we turned to walk to her room, but an older gentleman confronted us. He was Paul that has an advanced dementia. He have seen him before (Funny Distractions).
He walked up to us and demanded that we call his parents and asked us to see if they are coming to visit him. He even recited a phone number. I quickly told him that I had already called them and they aren't coming. Paul is a man in his eighties, so I thought that I made an accurate statement to him. They're are not coming because they have been dead for decades!
Paul stepped aside and we walked to Carolee's room. My wife walked in and saw that Carolee was also asleep! Both of our assigned patients were asleep. We quietly reclosed her door and I put up the cloth barrier to keep Paul out of her room.

As we were walking down the hall, we passed Paul and he recited another phone number to me. I just told him thanks and continued walking. We didn't visit with any of our patients, but we did have a fun talk with Paul.
