Two Saturday's with a Baby.

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

The last two Saturday's I had the pleasure of rocking a baby, who was a patient at the hospice. The baby boy was born with a very small brain and could not suck. He had to be feed with a feeding tube through his stomach.  Very sad condition for a little baby. He was very easy to rock, he only fussed a little when moving him over from arm to arm. After a few seconds he would settle back down.

He was there on a different name, a girls name, to protect him from his parents. The Children's Protective Services placed him there for safe keeping. His father was very strange and possibly dangerous. I didn't hear anything about the mother. the father was emotionally disturbed and was kicked out of the building just a few days ago!

The nurses all loved him and bought a bunch of clothes for him. After the third week they found a foster home for him.  He was a great pleasure to rock.  I really love those moments of hospice service.  These little one's need our compassion the most!

Do you know some crazy parents?  Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
